Guidance:
No Fee:
This program provides training to improve self-esteem,
communication skills and organization skills, anger and stress
management. Additionally, the program’s core curriculum includes
assertiveness training, problem-solving, identifying long and short
term goals, developing plans of action and learning to use a budget. The
Personal Growth program is four (4) week class which meets each
Wednesday.

| Parenting
Education:
$20 Individual /
$25 Couple:
This program is for any parent who wants to improve his/her
parenting skills, family interaction and family management skills.
Participants receive books and materials including workbooks and
handouts. Teaching methods include viewing videos, discussions and
lectures. The program follows the Systematic Training for Effective
Parenting (S.T.E.P.) course. This program is sanctioned by the
Pinellas County court system. The
Parenting class is a five (5) week class which meets each Tuesday.

Development:

Searching for employment or thinking about making a change?
Learn how to create your resume and a cover letter; also how to
develop a brief statement about yourself that tells an employer why
they should hire you. You will learn how to prepare for the
interview, i.e. handle nerves, deal with anticipated questions and
prove you are the best person for the job. The program also
offers techniques on how to hunt for a job, how to access available
resources and how to network and negotiate. Career Development
classes meet every Tuesday from 9:30AM -12:30PM.

| Computer
Education:
$10 Orientation
Fee;
The Computer
Orientation is an opportunity for you to familiarize you with
RCW, our Computer Lab and the Instructor, discuss your training
needs and determine which method may work best for you: independent
study or one-on-one training. There is a $10 fee when attending the
Orientation and all monies collected are used to fund the operation
and maintenance of the Computer Training program

| Making
Every Dollar Count:
Financial Literacy:
The ultimate goal of this program is to empower participants
to take control of their finances. “Making Every Dollar Count”
teaches basic money management through five lessons ranging from
“Paying Bills on Time Saves Money” to “Checking Basics”.
